Our fine jewellery selection just got bigger (and more fun, too!) – Sophie Keegan’s „Letters“ collection features delicate necklaces in 18-carat gold, adorned with diamond-sprinkled letters and other precious stones, including sapphires, emeralds and tourmalines.

Sophie Keegan Baum was born in England and spent her childhood traveling between Sydney and London. This ignited an early passion for art and design. She studied as a goldsmith and gemologist before working with Chaumet in the Place Vendôme, Paris, and later went on to open her own boutique in Notting Hill, London, creating exquisite fine jewels for private clients, her great passion. During Sophie’s career, she has also designed a special piece for Hermès and collaborated with Asprey on an exclusive line.

Today, Sophie lives with her family between London, Hamburg and Sydney, and her collections are striking visual memoirs of a wonderfully eclectic life. Influenced by her family’s love of the sea, the jewellery designer is known for her signature rope rings and bangles twisted in three golds, along with her celebration collection of elegant diamond-set “Letters”.

Sensual and distinctive design is key: Sophie’s “Coloured Stone” collection of earrings and rings is a nod to the magic of Jaipur, with striking plays of colour in bold unexpected shapes. Black and silver diamond necklaces are also an important part of her collection.

Exceptional craftsmanship and rare femininity lies at the core of Sophie’s creations, with each piece possessing an undeniable modernity and elegance.

To see Keegan’s fine jewellery collection, stop by the store Monday through Saturday between 10AM and 7PM or make an appointment via 040 35 01 71 20.

When Marilyn first sang about diamonds being every girl’s best friend, many of us couldn’t connect. The world, albeit dreamy and fairy tale-like, seemed too far away to have any connection to our daily work-to-sleep routine. So we subconsciously decided to leave the stones and sparkles to Jennifer Lawrences and Cate Blanchettes of the world only to realize that diamonds, once you hold them, really do change everything.

For once, they promise true love. And if there is one occasion where believeing in immortality of those fragile butterflies in one’s stomach makes perfect and total sense, then engagement has to be it.

And just so that you can start dropping hints, here are our suggestions:

Anything from Maison Margiela’s Fine Jewlery collection will do the trick (but if he really loves you, he will invest into a 0,5 carat ring in elegant combination of white diamond and white gold);

Delfina Delettrez „Mary Me“ ring in white or yellow gold with matching diamonds;

Ana Khouri’s extravagant double-diamond take on classical elegance.

Because, seriously, how could you not say yes to this beauty?

What is beauty? Regardless of whether the answer links to picturesque sunsets on a tropical island, a freshness of summer rain, a photo of you in your prom dress or an image of your lover on your bedside table, beauty has always been in the eye of the beholder.

There are, however, certain things that all eyes have in common – awareness of extraordinary, breathtaking and timeless. The kind of beauty that does not need additional explanation. Brazilian-born jewelry designer Fernando Jorge managed to create just that: beauty that might as well be universal, had such thing ever existed.

Pieces, signed by Fernando Jorge are fresh, cheeky but not vulgar. Inspired by a raw desire to wear something out of pure attraction, his creations have taken a form of sensual organic shapes that are soaked with raw energy and movement. Declared to be among the brightest emerging jewelry designers, Fernando Jorge founded his studio in ecclectic London after finishing his MA degree in Jewelry Design at famous Central Saint Martins.

An absolute highlight? His London collection that gives elegance, androgynity and grown-up flare a whole new meaning. For an instant pick-me-up, go for a bracelet from the designer’s Fusion Arrow collection – crafted in 18-carat gold with white diamond and topaz, it is an investment you’ll once be passing on to your daughter.
